The Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust, needs your funds to do our valuable work. We have a vision of South Africa in which survivors suffer no secondary trauma, and are supported in their interactions with the Criminal Justice System.
If you’d like to read more about us you can have a look at our website (http://rapecrisis.org.za). As you can imagine in a country with 60000 reported rapes a year, it is vital to have organisations who support survivors and assist them in court. Rape Crisis offers counselling and court support to survivors, and conducts research and provides training in the areas in which we work.
There are two ways that you can assist financially if you are interested.
The first is by making a once off donation. Every little bit counts.
The details are:
Name of Account: Rape Crisis Cape Town Trust
Bank: Standard Bank
Branch Code: 024909
Account number: 07 127 9865
The other option is to become a regular donor through our 1000 hearts program. Here we are looking for people to donate R100 per month, and in return you get a very cute heart on our page that displays your name. That aside, you get to give money to an organisation that does valuable work. Here is the link for that site: http://rapecrisis.org.za/support-us/1000-hearts/
Rape Crisis has a mission to promote an end to violence against women, specifically rape, and to assist women to achieve their right to live free from violence. We appreciate your support in working towards this mission.
