Chicks 4 Change have entered the 2012 Put Foot Southern African Car Rally. We are using a beloved 1998 1.3 Toyota Corolla. So? Who are we? Chicks 4 Change comprises of two feisty females with an appetite for adventure – Shane (Sharkbait) Hodges, a Passionate Physiotherapist working at a school for Children with Disabilities who follows closely in the footsteps of Pocahontas and Jenna (Indiana Jen) Lavin, a Lara Croft- type archaeologist and advocate for natural and cultural heritage.

The Put Foot Rally is a social rally to raise funds for a charity. The Put Foot Rally will take us through 7 southern African countries, covering approximately 7000km in 17 days, all in aid of charity. The Charities for 2012 are the Bobs for Good Foundation (https://www.bobsforgoodfoundation.org/) and Project Rhino. Our aim is to raise R50 per kilometer we drive on the rally, which is R50x7000km is a whopping amount of R350 000! The rally is not only about being first to the finish line, but its about competing against other crews for the most money raised… did I mention that not only are we feisty but competitive as well?

We will be travelling through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique and Swaziland as well as advertising on our Crew Blogs, websites, twitter and at any of the official charity fundraising events hosted by our crew.
